Be part of history! Design a poster to celebrate a century of accomplishment and service by museums in the United States as part of the American Association of Museums Centennial in 2006.
The winning design will become the only commemorative poster for the Centennial. Copies will be distributed at no charge at the 2006 AAM Annual Meeting in Boston and will be available to museums to use as they promote Centennial events in their own communities.
AAM is the largest cultural organization of its kind representing museum professionals in all function areas and in all types of museums—from art, history, natural history, science, and children's museums to arboreta, botanical gardens and zoos.
The winner of the competition will be awarded $1,000. The winning poster will be printed and distributed to all participants at the 2006 annual meeting in Boston. All finalists will receive Certificates of Excellence.
